Group Practice Hike

Meet Up Location
  Stop & Shop in Winsted (left at end of Route 8 and head east on Route 44 to the second light) at 7:30am to carpool.  Park at far end of lot near the bank.
Hike Description  

12 mile Alendar loop in Mount Washington State Park on the MA/CT border. A great hike with rolling meadows, deep forests, old carriage roads and rocky outlooks over the Hudson Valley with views of the Catskills from Alendar and Brace mountains. With luck, we may even spot a few paragliders.

Long day - probably back to Winsted between 5:00 and 6:00 without a dinner stop. Possible dinner afterwards for those interested.
